Artist, photographer, illustrator, born in Taunton, UK. Bachelor of Applied Arts, Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Toronto, Ontario. Group Portrait Exhibition, National Portrait Gallery, London, England, 1998 (as part of the John Kobal Portrait Prize). Photographic interests: portraiture, landscape, travel, food, conceptual, still life Painting and illustration interests: water colour, acrylic, graphite, markers and dry point My sole purpose in making art is to improve on the small bit of talent that has been given me....constant practise produces 1-2 pieces daily during these times of COVID. They are titled 'COVID art or 'VIRUS art'. My 40-year career as a professional artist/photographer has given me many opportunities and successes. Photographic influences: Andy Warhol, Andre Kertesz, Robert Frank, August Sander, Diane Arbus, Josef Kudelka, W. Eugene Smith and Annie Leibowitz Painting/Drawing influences: Albrecht Durer, Basquait, Andy Warhol, Barry Blitt, Da Vinci, Diego Rivera and Botero. Currently refining my skills in dry point and pencil drawing.
