Psalm 139 Lord, explore me and know me! I sit or get up, that's how you know it; you understand my thoughts from afar. You watch me whether I am walking or lying down, and you are familiar with all my ways; Psalms 139: 1-3 You surround me on all sides and hold your hand over me. This knowledge is too wonderful for me, too high to grasp! Where should I go before your spirit and where should I go before you? If I climb up to heaven, you are there; If I make the realm of the dead my bed, see, you are there too! so your hand would guide me asleep and your right hand would hold me! Psalms 139: 5-8 Made in the dark to see the light. Not only the development of man, but the whole act of creation of perfect nature should be reflected in Psalm 139. The essence of light, where every life originates, should illustrate how important light is for us humans. It mirrors hope again, in a world that is often characterized by a great deal of darkness when it comes to dying. God is the source of all light. My light in my life. A light to which I can always look up and feel safe no matter how dark it is around me. This drawing was pre-sketched in pencil on rough drawing paper and finally overdrawn with coal or completely rounded off and finished. Hope is all we have in times of the unkown. This artwork shows the light of hope, even in the midst of nothing. Even surrounded by darkness, it's the light of this world that keeps us alive and fighting. We will not fall, but find hope in what is still to come and what tomorrow can bring.
