During the coarse of my life domestic and local entertainment has shifted gears, from TV to video and from video to DVD and now complete online streaming in HD. When I was a young man, going to the pub or seeing a live band or both at the same time were the real options along with the odd visit to the cinema. Sometimes a circus would be in town or some avant garde theatre experience would be available. Whenever this happened it was, for me, a surreal experience, a full on colour assault, a virtual brain bombardment of highly stimulating imagery. Experiences I will never forget and ultimately these moments would help me become the artist that I am today.
