A Common Redpoll on a pine branch realized during Holiday Vacations for the love of birds, nature, winter snow in the trees, and this cold and crispy ambiance where all is so quiet, except sounds of the forest. Little pink and yellow splashes add joy and motion at the whole scene. The contour has been painted in a deep blue green, almost black colour to bring contrast and modernity. I love using the knife in many of my oil paintings for the dynamic and the aspect a little more yang into my very yin way of creating.
