Where did this landscapes come from? Perhaps from my desire and my mood. I don’t start out with intention and I have no idea where it was taking me but at a certain point it seemed to just appear. It become art therapy for me as I journey into the painting. I might labour for awhile with the back and forth of colour, shapes and values, but in the end a new day is born and there I am, in a place that feels right. I feel it’s energy and it’s peace. I hope you can rest here for a moment.This artwork is ready to hang with wire mounted to cradled board. The wood sides of this cradled board are stained and sealed with cold wax.
