I’ve created this piece of abstract art around Holliday Season and the beginning of 2020. Like a prophetic inspiration... something needs about to crack, to explode, to be expressed like a deep and profound scream, maybe for a new beginning? From the fire, emerges the ice in a Big Bang where Celestine, a semi precious stone is projected all around. The Celestine is an healing, calming stone, what an advised choice... The ice from the fire, the alchemical Oeuvre au Rouge, the transmutation of the lead into Gold. Something is about to happen... I have used marble molding paste on a birch wood panel, the color in the background is made by many layers of acrylic inks diffusing into water. Acrylic iridescent and pearl painting are for the Maine subject. Splashes of gold contouring paste and glitters for the wow and the woomf before sealing the whole work with a thick epoxy layer.
