This is a color study on stonepaper. The image is built up in many layers and worked mainly in spatula technique. The intended effect is achieved through various washes and scratches. I usually test this on this stone paper, a chlorine-free, chemical-free paper that is 80% rock flour, before painting it on canvas. These small but very expressive images are perfect to be framed with a mount and hung alone or in small groups. The image is suitable for conventional picture frames or even magnetic poster hangers.
