I am very excited to release the beginning of my Wonder Series, as it’s a big part of who I am. The Wonder Series is inspired by my farm life. I was born in Australia to immigrant parents, they bought a farm in South Australia and it was here I spent my pre teenage years. Having a free spirited personality there wasn’t much left undiscovered and keeping me indoors was almost impossible. The beginning of my series starts off with experiences that helped me develop my love for nature. “Puddle Stomp” is one of such experiences. There was a part of our driveway that got the most wear from my dad’s truck, we didn’t need the rain to fill it as the garden sprinkler would do the trick, making puddles for the best puddle stomps and mud pies. Please note all images are taken before the varnish (to reduce reflection). The artwork is then finished in two coats of a satin varnish for protection.
