Summer Wine is a mixed-media artwork, with colourful and refined textures. The artwork is a semiabstract dreamy landscape/escape in which the summer nostalgia is present: the end of the summer - beginning of autumn atmosphere, when the grapes are ripe. The vineyards surrounding a winery invites for a walk around this colourful landscape, full of picturesque details. Its bas-relief like surface has lovely three dimensional shapes, given by the different media the artist uses on the canvas: cotton handmade lace and textiles, silver metal leaf for the sky, leather, sand etc. The pink pallete is complimented by the subtle yellow and grey hues, giving the artwork a refined aura.
