Before starting a new painting, I always feel an irrestible need to express myself. I have to stop everything and I literally run to my brushes without trully knowing what will be the final result. I just know it is the right moment to express my feelings and I can't miss this moment. The inspiration comes once I start working. First I know which colours I want to use. It depends of my thoughts at the moment, of my mood, of what currently matter for me. Flamenca is an acrylic abstract canvas, but you can imagine a woman dancing with a red dresse.
