Oversized roses for Mother’s Day painting by a nice and warm Sunday of May. It was this happy and joyful mood where I found myself when I’ve created this artwork. The contrast of the evoked steel of the table, the round vase of glass and the brightness and extravagant bouquet of those roses expressing a little bit of myself between modernity and romance, practicality and day dreaming. I have chosen to paint the sides with a silver acrylic painting despite the whole work was made with oil painting. The roses have been created only with knife for nice textured effects. Roses are a real addiction for me. After every two or three other subjects, I have to come back to them to balance my heart, my soul and my fulfillment. This piece suits very well on a dark gray wall.
