I realized this round painting on a 20 inches wood panel at the end of Summer 2022 for a solo project where I have exposed more than 30 pieces only on the theme of the Rose. These are romantically old fashion in a Victorian style but treated completely with modern materials: molding paste with marble, acrylic inks and painting, glitters and epoxy that brings all the details of the background where layers of inks are diluted into water, letting dry before the next step. I love this so particular technique somewhere between sculpture and painting. As far as I can remember, I had always have this fascination for roses. I’m so grateful today to express my passion into a such complete technique where all the elements are reunited: wood, stone, water, fire during epoxy process and the breath that we have to retain making sure everything will be perfect ✨
