This is the second of a trio that I realized during a series of podcasts about Jean-Paul Riopelle’s life at Fall 2022. The vibe of this so free and so unique iconic giant transmitted in the audio accompanied my process during all my creative process for those 3 pieces that I affectionate more particularly. The turquoise and deep green of the background evoke something déjà-vu in my so many stays in Mexico. I added some coloured glass cabochons just before covering with epoxy that allows to magnify like a lens all different shades and colors of superimposed inks layers.
