Is it a mother with her child, completely attached and dependent? Or something else? In fact, we know all that it cannot be Father bear. But is there a possibility for an impossible story about a too large bear and a tiny one? Art gives place to every story that we want to tell us. This painting is one of my largest project. Realized during a not-so-brilliant time of my life… You know, when everything is going wrong, when it’s time to clean the inside and the outside. This process made me feel better, litteraly putting on ice what I had no control on. An large oil painting on gallery canvas using knife technique for the glaciers in background in deep declination of teal and turquoise, contrasting with the beige of the bears.
