I had so much fun creating this piece! I started by doing the background in spray paint. I then added some acrylic really intuitively; I splashed paint on the canvas which created paint splatter. By playing with them with a paintbrush, I created movements. Little by little, the shapes took form and I started to see abstract Koï Carps. I've always wanted to paint this subject, but I wasn't sure how to approach it. In this painting, it came intuitively. I see this piece as an expressive piece and one of my most joyful one.
