Description

I began this work at an art festival in one of the ruin pubs of Budapest in 3019, and this work is intended to capture some of the anarchic spirit of a festival. The inspiration also draws from childhood memories of looking down into a kaleidoscope to view the combination of colours and shapes that might be viewed there. Paper squares were added to the canvas surface, painted over with copper and gold, then painted over with crack paint, leaving the squares all visible, but a little eroded.
