I painted this piece and finished it in January 2021. It shows the face of the honorable President of the Republic of China, ironically holding an Virion - Illustration. This Illustration is metaphorically ment to be the current Sars COV-2 or further known COVID-19 Virus. The Idea of the painting is of the all known Masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci (or as some assume his apprentice Antonio Boltraffio), created around the 1500. Instead the original is showing Jesus Christ, holding a crystal ball in his left, showing a blessing symbol with his right.
